I am going to do the 5K service on my Road King Classic this week end. I don't have the maintenance manual for it yet so I am in need of some assistance in locating the drain plugs for the engine, the primary and trans. I look last night and I think I have some Idea where they are. Does anyone have a photo of the exact location or a link that will show me? Thank you.
What year bike? if 07, tranny plug on right side of bike towards back 5/8 socket. Front left for cranckcase same size socket. (Not the recessed plug) Primary is underneath he derby cover area. 5/8 too. Pick up a gasket at HD for this. About 7 bux. Good luck. Get the service manual, you'll want it for other things also. Oh yeah, definately get some new O rings for each.
