tank emblem
I have an 05 Road King Standard and I just purchased a Road King Custom fuel tank. I would like to take the emblem off of the customtank and put a different Road King emblem on the tank. Has anyone done this, is it hard to take emblem off and put a differentone on?

Just heat them up and the Custom emblem (it's pretty flimsy) will peel right off. Take a rag and a little WD40 to get off the rest of the glue, then rub a little alcohol on the area before you put the new emblems on. If you're using your own 2-sided tape, get the good stuff - 3M automotive/Emblem tape -it's grey in color with a red backing. I replaced the Custom emblems on my bike with the Street Glide emblems.......much nicer.
