Was atthe Blessing of the Bikes in Dayton OH and saw this product. I haven't seen it before so I thought I would pass it along. It is a shifting mechanism where you press down to both upshift and downshift. It has two levers.
Interesting idea, but I wouldn't use it. Seems it would be too easy to hit the wrong pedal. But maybe someone out there has been looking for something like this.
First thing I did was get rid of the heel shifter.
As far as this goes, it looks cool but I'm afraid my old habits would cause me to get confused and shift the wrong way.
BTW, I never worry about scuffing my boots when I ride. They're boots not dress shoes.
OK, who's going to be the first one to buy one and review it in real life???? Get out the CC.
Oh yeah, it's cute and all, but for me, well, been shifting the same way so long, ya just know I would screw it up, shift in the worng direction. Ain't nothing quite like winding a gear tight, grabbin' the next one, dumpin' the clutch and finding out you went to a lower gear. How do I know? [:@] Not on the bike, but an intoxicated night in a car. Makes a lot of weird noise though.
Don't think I need another pedal to mess with,
thanks but after 30 years of waiting on 6 gear
tranny and finally having it I sometimes forget I
even got that!
