Smoked Passing Lamps
Has anyone installed the smoked passing lamps from HD. I spoke to a guy in the parts dept. at Chicago Harley Davidson and he told my that they don't really look smoked but rather have a greenish tint to them. Has anyone noticed this? He also told me that adding these to my Street Glide can cause damage to the stator if I ride with them on all the time.

Not sure you can see mine that well but I have the HD set on..they are not that dark off and while on you can not really notice they are smoked. While sitting I like the look and hace the smoked turn signal lenses as well.

Mabey a slight green tint but not too much.Most tint basees are green.As to damage with a tinted lense, huh?
