Who hates wiping down the chrome?
I do...SOOO, I remember I saw this product on TV that "blows" the air off your bike. With that, I took it in the garage after I finished washing it and use my Air Compressor and blew all the water off.
For those of you who already do this - kudos, I'm an idiot for not trying it until now. For those of you who haven't - it kicks ***. Try it.

Well, I don't know about that. No chrome, no wasting time polishing instead of RIDING. Besides that, my compressor does a fine job of blowing off water.

I don't mind polishing my scooter. It makes it worthwhile to keep it looking like new. Even after washing and drying with a leaf blower, I still take the time to polish it.
