Is the prep work already done? Do they have to do some body work to it or ust prepping and painting? That makes a difference in cost.

You should find that $80-$100 will cover it.

Also....

The DuPont Super Jet Black matches the HD Vivid Black. That's what I used when I painted the quick detach fairing for my bike.

Generally I will do a black fender for about $90 as long as the fender is in good shape, the existing paint doesn't need any major work, and no rust is involved. That $90 includes sanding / scuffing the fender, a coat of 2-part epoxy sealer, basecoat, 3 coats of clear, and wet sand / buff.

I used DBC9700 Dupont black for my 2003 vivid black FLHTPI. perfect match

40 for a pint of paint, 17 for the reducer, had the clear alredy, but a quart of clear is about 30 bucks.

DBC has no shelf life and you can pour the leftover back into the can from the gun.

you may find a jobber who will mix half pints if you ask around.

prep? wipe it down with denatured alcohol, wetsand with 600 wet dry and you are good to go.

figure about an hours labor to paint it if you do the prep work.

see it matches!
