Default Add on EFI module failure-anyone??
Anyone have a add on EFI module fail? Bike seems to be running on 1 cylinder. Plugs o.k. Didn't get to check coil yet. Running
Cobra FI 2000r. Not sure how to diconnect unit + go back to stock. 07' bike. Any thoughts??

unit is suppose to be plug/play with factory style connectors..
seems like if you can locate unit..you can then follow connections and it should explain itself...
connect same w/same

does it seem to be idling on one cylinder or running on one cylinder when above idle? The 07s have a heat management built into the ecm that shuts down the rear cylinder at idle under certain conditions.

Pull the Cobra connectors off of the Injectors and check for a loose or broken wire . Early models had a problem with wires in the injector plugs coming loose or pulling outdue to being to short. Call Cobra.

Thanks Chopper. That was the problem. Wire broke off at connection. Beefed it up a little but still getting rid of it.Let me down in the middle of nowhere. Ruined 3 day weekend plans for me + 4 others. Going with SERT next week. This unit was recommended to me by closest dealer who doesn't have a dyno. I'm sure I'll get better performance+reliability with a good tune.
