Default Changeing Rinehart Baffles

I have true duals rinehart exhaust. I ordered a set of quieter baffles.
To replace them, do you just remove the tail pieces and slide them out
or does somthing hold them in place?

Remove end caps and they pull out. They can be a little tight depending how long they have been in.

I will tell you a good trick I learned for removing the baffles. Un do the screws and use a rubber strap oil filter wrench and givethe end capsa twist, off they come with no fuss. Grab the baffles with some vise grips and they come out pretty easy.

Once the end caps are off, try to move the baffle back and forth to loosen it up a bit thengrab the baffle with a small pair of vice grips, while holding the vice grips take a rubber mallet and hit the muffler downward and it should come out. You only have to use the mallet if they are a little stubborn like mine were.

And FEAR you want louder baffles for your check out Big City Thunder, just put them in my RH TD's and they sound awsome.

My exhaust is only 2 weeks old, they should pull out easy I hope.
I like the sound of them now, for in city use, but on the highway on longer trips,
I find them a little annoying. I ordered the quieter ones for longer trips.
I plan on changing back and forth, if they are that easy to change.

I will be getting a stage 1 done with the computer download. Will there be any problems
switching bettween the quiet and load baffels, as far as the computer download?

I don't think you will have any problem. The "quiet" baffles are hardly any different noise wise than the standard, more noticeable at idle than cruise.
