i have an 07 ultra with 10k miles on it. 2500 miles ago the engine started shaking real bad at idle. i hade the dealer replace the motor mount and something called the iac? still shaking real bad. does anyone have any idea what the problem could be. my mechanic says it s nothing major but its annoying that i even get a buzzing through the floorboards at speed. i just went round trip to myrtle beach 1700 miles and no mechanical problems, just the vibration. i m idling at 1000 rpm. i even did pipes and a fuel pack with air cleaner and still shaking. i m curious if anyone else has this problem. i m concerned about crank?
Mine has always shaked at idle - they are not a counter-balanced engine, should smooth out nicely a riding rpms, some have had good luck decreasing the vibration by installing the IDS.

My bike was pretty smooth last year. I added the IDS over the winter. Now it feels like it vibrates more!
I will be checking with the dealer shortly and will let you know what they say.

Last year I had a dealer tell me that I needed a front motor mount, so I bought a new H.D (made in China) mount and changed it, well that made things 100% worse you could not stand to ride it so I put the original back on and all is well. There was nothing wrong with the original mount he just thought it was squashed a little.
