I have a '08 RG and have had the factory harley large windshield on it for the past few months while waiting on the Clearview xl shield come in. I ordered it with the manual vent in the shield and must say I am very impressed. Before with the harley xl shield my glasses would almost vibrate off my nose at 70mph and now all of that is gone with the clearview. I am surprised that the vent doesn't put much air towards you as I would have thought so if I were to order again I'ld go with just a standard xl shield. Overall I'm VERY impressed with it.
btw I'm just over 6' tall but am long in the torso so I probably sit like a person 6'3" or so.

I agree, although Clearview makes AWESOME shields the vent is almost completely worthless (& doesn't look real great either)
