Windshield - One shield recurve shape over another?
I currently use and have only used an ultra wide LRS recurve windshield for many years. Creature of habit, I guess. I don't feel one company's flip-up technology can be too much different than their competition. For those of you that have tried multiple shields, is there a manufacture that offers a recurve windshield in a shape that provides a better 'pocket' than another Base the shield height on the suggestion that the height should be just under your nose.
Traditional rounded top vs flat top vs ex-wide top vs 'wind splitter' shape, etc.
FWIW my 7" LRS recurve seems to flip up the bugs much better than my 8" Freedom Shield does. Seems sometimes a bug will get between the 7" shield and me make a couple of circles than exit between the left front side of the tank and the fairing. Also seems like I will get more bugs splat on my glasses and forehead with the 8" FS?

My 8 inch Klock Werks creates a completely calm pocket of air between you and the shield. You can smoke a cig and not have the ashes blown off. Have not tried their 10 incher, but assume it would be even better. I also have a six inch model. Love the looks, but lets lots of air hit you around the shoulders. Great for hot weather.
