Im 6ft 1in, will changing up to a 9inch windshield from kuraykyn make much difference to the amount of wind my helmet get smashed with using the stock HD 5inch shield
Freedom Shields are great.better finish with nice curve.I am 5/10.5 and the 9 shield is great.was getting dreadful buffeting with the HD 9 stock.I got a 10 to big over eye level.Retuned and with great advice got 9 slight tint and hvnt looked back.U can try on bike,But do nt remove clear film or foil and u can return if nt suit.Great company to deal with
Gumby,
I’m 6’0 tall .I just switched over to the 10” Windsplitter for our around the USA ride .
I was able to ride it about 250 miles before I crated it up and shipped it out .
Huge difference, no helmet buffeting in cross winds , rain went over the top helmet as you kept moving, with the fairing vent open , the helmet does have better airflow through it ( full face ) .and one other good thing about the taller shield, the overall performance of the sound system is 100% better . You can cut back on the treble and increase the bass .
