Default Drive, Passenger Communication

I have the Road King Classic, so there is not HD Communication, I have the Cardo Blue tooth, but it is pretty bothersome every time it turns off and the sound quality is not that great. I do like to talk with my wife while we are riding and so I'm wondering what works for you folks... let me say it again so I don't take the heat I do like to talk with her (35 years and going strong). I just don't like yelling into the mic to turn it on and I don't like the sound quality.

Look seriously into the Autocom Active-Plus System. I've had one on my Roadie for a few years now and my Wife and I really enjoy it. It is a bit pricey but I think it's well worth the investment. The system is expandable and you can hook up stereos, FRS/CB, Cell Phone, MP3 and GPS to it.

I did however replace the headphone speakers with a set of Edset Speakers....now I get concert hall quality music through them. You may not want to do that as the Autocom Speakers are good enough for the average Joe...(I'm a bit **** retentive when it comes down to things like this)

We're using the Cardio Scala Q2's. The quality is ok, butit is a bit annoying when it cuts out. We have learned to give a short blow into the mic then a short pause before talking. It also helps to have the mic right in front of your mouth. But let me know if you switch to the other system how it works out, I may switch.

George.

I use Blueant, very good writeups.
You can find pairs on eBay.
My buddy has one and I jut 'pair' them and we can talk Bike to bike without a problem.
