No he was just asking if there has ever been such a thing as a springer on an Ultra or elec glide. I know about the heritage springer and love the looks of it never ridden one yet. Although I almost took a Crossbones for a spin a couple weeks ago. A springer on a tour......that would be something to see.

My last bike was a 1999 FXSTS Softail Springer.Although I loved the bike,I would not want the springer front-end on a touring bike.It may look good but it doesnt' handle as well. The springer front-end steers heavy and does not handle bumps in the road as well as standard shocks.Springers are also more expensive to keep-up(neck bearings, bushings, front tire...).

My wife and I ride to gatlinburg several times a year since its only a 4 hour ride from where we live. We are planning on riding the dragon next time out. Last time we rode over to Cherokee and wanted to go to Maggie Valley and see that museum there but casino traffic + Car show caused us to turn around and head back. LOVE to stop at Marryville HD everytime we go through since we go the back way through Townsend. Great ride.
