I went out and checked my wife's 2007 Chrysler Town and County minivan. It too, has chips in the paint, probably from rocks or debris. I think if you ride or drive a vehicle, it's going to get chips in the paint.
I just got back from a 4,500 mile trip on my Ultra. I found a couple of chips in the paint I didn't have before I left. I don't expect HD or the dealership to warrant road debris. I'm surprised I didn't have more chips based on the number of trucks that went by me on US 50 across Kansas.

I have two dings in mine already, but they are both my fault. In case nobody ever told you, don't hang your guardian bell from the front fork brace. If you fly high enough over a railroad track, you will land hard enough to crush the bell between the fork brace and the front fender.
