exhaust change on '07 bagger
please excuse the question but i am new to the site so i am gong to ask anyway I have an 07 Electraglide Classic and want to change the mufflers do i have to do an upgrage and air cleaner or can i change the pipes and mufflers without it and will it effect the preformance

welcome. if you do a search on this topic you will find thousands of replies. but if i am right, just to change the mufflers, no you need not change anything else. it cant hurt though to change everything

th e07 runs pretty lean pipes will make it only slightly leaner so a tuner is not a must unless u get heat issues. the air cleaner is a restriction point for air flow change that u get more air witch will require more fuel! but the combination of all 3 tuner air kit and pipes will give u better preformance and cooler running.

No need to change anything. I,ve been running a set of Thunder Headers for more than 5000 miles with a stock air filter. Bike runs better than a new Rolex.

As stated in post before...your good to go with slip-ons...I put SE slip-ons on my 07 FLHX in Jan. of 07. Things are good, and I was informed this was OK by the dealer where I bought it! The computer can compensate for the change...
