1) I got a skid lid, fit's in my bag fine (RKC). Dosen't lift much, not very thick.
2) Thanks for the website peppa1, I've been looking for a 3 snap face shield.
3) Most of the 1/2 shells have a styrofoam liner. If mine helment dosen't fit rightI peal back the liner (spray on glue it back, lightly) & carve the foam to my (strangly) shaped head.
I bought a fulmer helmet. When I put it on, it fit real well. I don't get any lift when riding my RK Classic. It does also fit into my bag. I got it at renegades, they told me fulmer does not sell online, not sure if that is true or not. Here is a link":
Recommend HJC brand helmets. Have had great luck with these helmets. HJC is also the maker for the HD brands. You can get the none HD helmet from HJC for almost 1/2 the cost. I have three different HJCs .. full face for cold weather.. half and 3/4.
I have one of their helmets; has adjustable front vent, is very comfortable and doesn't lift on me. Also has nice visor for when your driving into the sun. This is the same helmets as many PD's have for their motor units. Takes about a month to order but can order in your choice of colors...
Yes and no, KBC and AGV also make helmets for HD. Most of the 1/2's are AGV. Fine if your head's oval, not if round.
ORIGINAL: Red Hot Ultra

The only helmet worth having on my head.........
Advanced Carbon Composite...A.K.A. Head Trip Helmet.
It's carbon fiber, LIGHT AS A FEATHER, you hardly know it's on. It ain't cheap, but it's worth it's weight in gol,,,,,wait a minute, it doesn't weigh much, so let's say it's a worth any OTHER helmet's weight in "gallons of gas."
I just got my first 1 and am thinking of ordering another just to have a spare.
