Default need half helmet recommendations

I have a HCI half helmet that does not fit well. hurts my forhead. so I wet out and bought a Bell drifter liked the fit and all but the first time I road my bike 09 street glide on the freeway I could not read the road signs from the buffering. I do not have this problem with my HCI half helmet also I dont have this problem with my full face shoei I do get some buffering but not like with the bell drifter so took the bell back and I would like some recommendations Im going to put the klockwercks 6.5 recurve on my bike soon

Thanks Tim

carbon fiber from headtriphelmets.com! Smallest footprint DOT half that I found. Not much more than my Daytona novelty.

if i had to wear a helmet due to law no question id get a carbon fiber light weight small helmet. Does the new half helmet you got have the snap on visor on the front those things act like a dam sheet of plywood and just catch the wind and are worthless.

I like my Skid Lid half helmet when I am feeling like a minimal helmet. Less buffeting than my FF Shoei or my 3/4 HJC.

Having lost a family member to a head injury, I'm a little sensitive to helmet protection. The way I see it, you never get a good second chance at a bad first bounce off asphalt or concrete. Just my 2 cents...

my Gmax 1/2 helmet is the most comfortable helmet I have ever worn. It is a lot lighter than the Bell helmet you had. (at least it felt a lot lighter to me)

I like my vega 1/2. I have a Advanced Carbon Composite XL that has only been worn a couple of times. If your head is an XL and you want to go that route we can work something out.

I've got a Vega XTS that I like pretty well. Light and low profile

ACC carbon fiber is the way to go. They will even try to shape it to your head. All you have to do is ask.
