Ditto. I do miss my Midnight Flame II helmet from Harley. It was a KBC helmet. The hybrid is lighter. That Bell may not be quite as aerodynamic as some of the helmets mentioned so far. That, along with the short shield may be working against you.
You could shape the inside of your HCI helmet until it matches the shape of your head. It's only a styrofoam type material and can be grated away with a bastard file.
The ZOX helmets I have tried in the past have a problem with paint. In direct sun light, the paint gets tacky, even months after I bought them. I tried sanding away the factory paint and repainting it but the new paint became tacky too.

Flat file?
ConCave interior of Helmet?
I'm trying to visualize that.
I want to shape the interior of mine as well, but I need some help on a useable tool.
if i had to wear a helmet due to law no question id get a carbon fiber light weight small helmet. Does the new half helmet you got have the snap on visor on the front those things act like a dam sheet of plywood and just catch the wind and are worthless.
Yeah I got the one with the snap on visor. Mine doesnt grab the wind like plywood. Mabe because I tilt it down all the way? THought it would on the SHadow I rode yesterday, but was fine.
I like my vega 1/2. I have a Advanced Carbon Composite XL that has only been worn a couple of times. If your head is an XL and you want to go that route we can work something out.
Do you have a picture Im not sure if it would fit I have a Arai that is a large
but my Shoei is a XL both fit perfect I tryed on a Scorpion half helmet and the large was to big needed a Medium
I checked them out too. Nice lightweight but only came w/Skull. Opted for the ACC Headtripper. Best I've owned. I actually forget I'm wearing it. They also have a "No questions asked" return policy.
