I wason the Burn Camp ride the other day and somewhere between the Camp and my house one of the crystals started cracking on my dash!! It is the crystal that covers the neutral, turn signas lightsamong other things right in the middle of the dash. Went right to the stealer once I got hometo make sure this will be covered under the warranty and got the part ordered. They along with myself had no idea why is occurred. Anyone else have this problem or "defect" as the stealer called it?

 

Probably just some stress build-up, maybe some tolerances all stacking up the wrong way or a mfg defect. Yours is probably just the "lucky" one-in-a-million.

 

actually, someone else just asked about this same thing wanting to get the part number so they could just order and install themselves. so that makes 2 one-in-a-million things right here. maybe someone should play lotto numbers

 

mine is all cracked up too.don't know how it happened.noticed it when i did the inner fairing

 

Yes, had same thing on my 05 Ultra. Covered under warranty.

 

Never had a problem with that, only those d@mn brackets.

 

I cracked mine but it happened when I wasn't paying attention at the gas pump and the gas splashed on the crystal. What is the part number and how do I replace it

 

How can gas (liquid) crack the crystal?

 

It probably isn't cracked but is discolored around the edges of the lenses and looks like it has tiny cracks around the edge of the lense
