RE: will you buy the first year liquid cooled models?
I've got two perfectly good, fast, and dependable bikes [FLHT/FLTRI] already. I'm not the kind of guy who needs the latest and greatest of anything, so I think I'd give it serious thought, then pass. If I'm going to have another vehicle payment, I'd just as soon have it be for a car that gets as good a fuel efficiency as my bikes do.
If God took my bikes away in a storm though and HD happened to release a large displacement V-rodded bagger, I'd be all over it ASAP. I'm spoiled by fairings and saddlebags, but the V-rod motor is just flat out AWESOME and fun to ride.

i have an 08 SG so i took the plunge on this first year bike....it hasnt had any problems for me yet....as for water cooled man there are many advantages to water cooled.....but i do not want a radiator on the front of my bike....if i wnted that look i would have saved 10 thounds bucks and bought a honda. So unless harley can hide it will i dont want one.
....am I missing something in this post?...first year Street-Glide was 06...not 08...[sm=dontgetit.gif]
