Can't go wrong with the SG and welcome to the SG family. Just tell her that the therapist at your job said you need to ride a SG to become more romantic and a better husband.
"oh and convince the other-half".

Great choice. You won't be sorry after you first 200-300 mile ride. Your wife will want a different seat though. The streetglide passanger seat isn't that comfortable.
You will love the street glide. I agree with the others, order your sundowner street glide seat and passenger backrest with the bike. The stock street glide seat looks good but is worthless for a passenger.

I am trading my Night Train in for a 2006 Street Glide next month. I'm counting the days....
I can relate to the wife. A year ago when I wanted to buy the NT my wife was in tears over me getting it. At the time I had too many toys already. Well persistance won and I ended up buying it. Once I added a backrest and better seat for her we rode all of the time. She later told me that she was glad that I bought it as she really enjoys it. We now have couples that we ride together with. Get your wife involved. Ensure not to leave her out of the process. If you do these things, she will be a lot more supportive of the decision.
