I logged about 8K in the saddle seated on a Corbin Dual Touring seat which I bought for my '07 Fat Boy. The Corbin is a beautifully made, high-quality, handsome seat, but it was just too damn firm (hard) to suit me. I kept hoping the seat would "break in" after a few hundred miles, but it wasn't any softer on the 8000th mile than it was on the 1st.

I've been seriously thinking about a Corbin for my 08 Ultra, but have heard so many horror stories about their customer service I'm still on the fence. I would like to be a little lower in the saddle, but don't really want to go back much. I've been on their web site and they say they are coming out with a touring saddle that doesn't move you back, so that might be an option....I'm also concerned for the amount of space and comfort for the passenger, since the wife rides with me most of the time. Has anyone found a particular salesman to deal with that provides higher quality customer service?

I ordered from him, he said 3-5 weeks for delivery. They were running a couple weeks behind and Ihad a trip coming up. I emailed him 3 weeks after I ordered it for a ETA, hetold me to give him a date that I was leaving and he would personnally make sure I had it in time.
I got the seat a couple weeks ago (Solo Classic, Large Pillion, riders backrest and passengers backrest pad for an 08 FLHX). They had some of the stuff in stock, but he insisted on it all being made at the same time so it would be a better match.Within 5 weeksof thetime I ordered it the box was on my porch.
