Default CORBIN Saddles?

Never spoke with anyone who actually had one that rode much, but a few who had them for looks.

I've read that they're designed for all day ridingand yes, it doesn't matter what you sit on after 14 - 18 hours, your butt hurts!

So, does anyone have one that actually does long distance riding? I'd appreciate your opinions.

Thanks

Wahl.....we average 400 mile days on vacation, have gone 1000/day a coupla times - on Corbin's. The difference between a Corbin an' OEM for us is night an' day - wouldn't even think of goin' back ta stock.

Thanks TR,

I havea chanceto pick up a like new one for 175. for my FLT. Running the slim Mustang now and like it except 2" shorter than stock. And learned a long time ago - soft isn't comfy if you sit out there and do it........

Ride safe

I have been riding Corbins since 1995 and would not have anything else. We do lots of 500 mile days, and some considerably longer.

One of the first mods I do to my bikes is install a Corbin seat. I live in NC and rode down to Ormond Beach just to get fitted for a Classic Solo for my Road King. They had one in stock that fit and rode it home. Ended up riding into North Georgia, Tennessee then back into NC for over 1500 miles-absolutely made for the long haul!

I've been seriously thinking about a Corbin for my 08 Ultra, but have heard so many horror stories about their customer service I'm still on the fence. I would like to be a little lower in the saddle, but don't really want to go back much. I've been on their web site and they say they are coming out with a touring saddle that doesn't move you back, so that might be an option....I'm also concerned for the amount of space and comfort for the passenger, since the wife rides with me most of the time. Has anyone found a particular salesman to deal with that provides higher quality customer service?

Ride 300 - 400 miles a day every weekend. Once you've ridden on a Corbin, you can't go back to an open cell *** pillow.

Well I can't take the pillow Tour Pak back rest off (looks like crap without it) but I'm about riding not looking and since anything less than 400 miles is a bar-hop to me, y'all have convinced me it's the only way to go.

Thanks for all the input - very much appreciated!

you can get the same comfort level on a stock seat by sitting ona $15 leather chamois. it increases the surface tension for increased long didtance comfort and wicks moisture away from you. Never saw an unhappy Corbin rider though.
