I have what looks like a two prong receptacle(female) on my harness. I want to use it to power a GPS, IPOD, etc. What do you call it, does it have an HD number, is there an aftermarket or HDplug with acigarettelighter on the end?
Thanks in advance for enlightenment.
I actually found the plug at wall mart in the automotive section. It cost me like $5.
It fit the plug, I believe there is a longer version that could be used to get power from the back of a vehicle such as a trailer hitch.
I just stepped out to check the plug and yes it would work. Not sure if all WM's would have it. Let me know if cannot secure one. salazarmoises@msn.com

Where at on your harness? Are you talking about the one near your headlight? Not sure if the blades on a cheap cigarette lighter adapter would plug right into that or not but, if it does, consider yourself lucky. HD doessell a cigarette lighter adapter for $17.00 that has a plug on the other end that mates up with the accessory plug in front of your battery. I picked up a plain jane cigarette lighter adapter at NAPA for under $5.00.
I see a plug at the front of the gas tank where the VEN ID number is licated. Iguess it was for the siren (07 police bike). It is an orange and black, 2 blade female plug.
