I have been searching this site and HD site and I'm still confused. Maybe one of you guys can enlighten me. I want to plug into the acc plug under the seat so I can use the switch on the dash. I am under the impression it is the four pronged plug not the two. I cant find a plug in the catalog or on their website except for one that seems to plug into both but has plugs on the other end also. Which is it and what does the other one do? What is the part number for the end I need to buy. Please help. If the Harley dealer was open today I would just go down there but I would rather buy online. I meed to know exactly what it is first. Thanks.

Believe it's Deutsch msd #8187 connector.Looks like they're pretty pricey because you have to buy the whole set up male and female connectors @ 30-35 bucks I couldn't find any locally so bought Harleys Supplemental power point #91843-97 for $19.99 cut off the acc plug made a wiring harness and ran it up to my fairing.Don't have to worry about having the right crimp tool etc. just soldered the splice taped and shrink tube,then used the power point socket and mounted on the fairing.
Don't confuse the computor connection under the left side cover. The owners manual picture will make you beliieve that is the plug for the aux switch. The Aux plug will be found next to the battery. Make sure you check for polarity too when making connections.
I used mine to power the cell phone it the tour pack. If you have a Garmin Zumo 550 the GPS will tell you the condition of the cell phone battery. Good luck.
i bought 2 crimp on duetch connectors for under a $ and used a tester in each hole to figure out witch holes were hot on the ignition,the acc switch always hot and ground.
The ACC plug under your seat that operates your switch is numbered from 1 to 4.
1 = 12V
2 = Brake light
3= ACC switch
4 = Ground
Hope this helps.
