when you fill up with premium and paying more for it,&nbsp\\; how do you/we know that thats what we're getting?&nbsp\\; I've had to fill up with 87 before(no choice) and had no pinging.&nbsp\\;

Conducted an unplanned low octane test yesterday. Stopped to fill at the station in a tiny town in Wisconsin. Only 87, 89, and diesel available. Put two gallons of 89 in to get me back to a bigger town. Probably mixed with a gallon or so of non-oxy premium. Did not hear pinging the way I did when the bike was stock. Hard to say that the slightly lower performance was not my imagination. And maybe it was just the the Knock Retard in the ECM doing its job.
