Got my TMax installed, so now what?
Got my Tmax installed today. Loaded basemap #302. Seemed about the closest to my build but not exact. Followed the directions and did the intialization on/off sequeneces then let it get up to temp at idle. Took it out for a ride and it's very smooth. Throttle response it snappy. Heard a few pings. Mostly in 3rd gear if I whack on it from about 2500 at like 40mph. Rolling on the throttle is fine, whack on it and you can tell she's lean.
So now what? Where do I go from here?? Ride it and it will get better? Do I need to save something to my laptop or do the on/off sequece to save something to the tmax? Does it just adjust and reload itself on the fly? Directions didn't really say what to do after the startup and in the future what to expect or to do.

You need to down load the entire 20 plus page manual off their web site so you can make needed A/F and timing adjustments to the map you loaded. It explains everything you need to know. You only get the installation instructions with the unit.
