Iv'e got a set of high priced, heavy, H-D gear hanging in the closet. Bought a set of FT last year in Sturgis. I can take the whole suit and put it inside my full face helmet and store it.That is my rain gear. Before, my rain gear took up over half of a saddle bag.
Frogg Togg sells a "patch" that you put on where you think you might hit a hot pipe and it stops it from burning. Don't know how well it works. Saw it at Myrtle bike week a feww weeks ago.
I have them, They are much better than some of the rubberized rain suits. Much more comfortable when the rain stops. As the others above have said, lightweight, and stow easily.
Went to Bass Pro Shops and picked up the Frog Toggs' Bull Frog Signature Rain Suit. They only had the Elite Highway was only available in small.
Also, I guess it is the bicycle riding in me to "BE SEEN". So I got the yellowist rainsuite I've seen in a long time. SO if you spot Big Bird on a Candy Red Sunglo Ultra from Nebraska, it'll be me.
They work great, but wear easily and melt quickly if you get them anywhere near your pipe.
Exactly what he said. But I also found that they like to parachute up at highway speeds, kinda makes you feel like the boy in the frogg togg bubble
They do parachute up at highway speed, I am already a big guy but with the jacket on I look like the stay puff marshmellow man. The seems look like they are giving up pretty fast.
Don't even think of these if you have FatCat's....melted them so badly onto the pipe thatthe heat shield is now stained and I will have to replace it....
