Default Kuryakyn Adjustable Passenger Pegs?

I bought a new FLHTCU in March of this year. I had a 03 Vulcan Nomad before I purchase this bike. One thing I have notice ( and the wife too !!!!!!!) is the heat from the motor. Yes I have a HD oil cooler. I was thinking of purchasing the above pegs. Hoping to keep her feet away from the exhaust pipes. Theleft side is really bad. Another thing I had Bub Rhinehart true duals put on the bike. Any thoughts on these pegs?

I just put the Kury pegs on my EGC a couple of months ago. My wife just wanted to be able to shift her feet around on long trips, and for this the pegs are good. It allows her to slightly alter her position to decrease fatigue. As for heat, since my wife has never complained about exhaust pipe heat (stock system) I really can't comment on that. But I can see how they would help since they allow a passenger to bring their feet up higher and forward. You can only get just so far away from pipes on a motorcycle, so this is probably about the best you can do other than wearing clothing that would protect against heat.

Wifey oves hers too. They do cool her tootsies a bit more in the Florida Summers. The best thing is a set of heat deflectors. I run the Kury Mid Frames. Many like the looks of the RJ's. If money hadn't been so tight, I would have bought them too. They also help your thighs when stuck in traffic!
