Okay...When my low fuel light comes on and the display is showing miles remaining, does that mean miles left until I hit reserve and have a gallon or so left, or does that mean how many miles I have left until EMPTY? I haven't run her that low yet... THanks!
I guess I am somewhat surprised...The few times I have gotten down to a dozen or so miles on the display, I couldn't even get five gallons in the tank!

+1 - Three times, down below ten miles left on the display, 5, maybe 5.1 gal of fuel in a 6 gal tank.

....Okay, I guess that was my real question...So when the display hits ZERO, will the bike run out of gas, or do I really have a gallon of gas left in there?? Or is the 6.1 gallon capacity b.s.???
last Sunday my low fuel light came on, miles counted down until it went to LO. There where no gas stations in sight. I am new to using my zumo and didn't even think about using it to find nearest fuel until I had ran a few more miles and started to sweat a bit. Zumo said there was a station four miles ahead and I had been seeing LO on the display for several miles.
I got to the station feeling very lucky and was probably running on fumes. The tank held 5.2 gallons. I am not really bitching though. That is alot better than it saying I have 20 miles left when I am dry.
