Default Amsoil

Found a place here in Pensacola to purchase amsoil. Got some 20 w 50. But it didn't say how often to change oil. I went to the site and it had a chart but it wont open for some reason. It crashes the acrobat reader. Does anyone know how long you can run amsoil and what weight do you use in the trans ? My trans is a little noisy.

&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;&nbsp \\;\\\\\\;&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Amsoil is very good stuff, I would use 75w-140 ( or 75w-90 )&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;in tranny, 20w-50 elsewhere and change every 2500 to 3000 mile.

OK Wait. Why change it every 3K ? thats what this oil is all about. You can put this in a car and go 20K before you change oil. I didnt buy it to change it every 3K.

I use Amsoil and change it 5000.I follow the service intervals just incase there is a warranty issue.
I use Mobil 1 in the cars and it reccomends following the mfg's service intervals.

Still should change it every 5k. Use 75-90 Amsoil severe gear in the transmission.You cannot compare with cars as they run a lot cooler. I have gone as long as 7k when on a long road trip as I do not like strangers touching my bike.I use HD primary in that hole and 20w50 amsoil motorcycle oil in the enging. If you change every 3k it wont hurt anything but can get pretty expensive. go to the Amsoil website and read their white paper.

&nbsp\\;Ammsoil states that you can extend your oil change itervals by 2. That being said, the newer &nbsp\\;Harley owners manuals says to change engine oil at 5000 miles, so you can go to 10,000. using Amsoil's recomendations.
&nbsp\\;I've been using Amsoil in my&nbsp\\;Harleys for years, and I change my oil and filter&nbsp\\;once a season, (in the fall)&nbsp\\;or at 10,000 miles,&nbsp\\;which ever comes first.&nbsp\\;One bike I have, a&nbsp\\;1999 Road King&nbsp\\;has 90,000 miles on it and I have used Amsoil in it since it was new.&nbsp\\;I also use it in two sportsers, a Softtail, and in&nbsp\\;a&nbsp\\;08 Classic.
&nbsp\\;I have had NO oil related problems in any of my bikes in all the time I've been using Amsoil.
I really trust this stuff.
&nbsp\\;
(Think I'd make a good Amsoil salesman?)
