Whats up with the formatting? ///. ///

All the slashes & dots that started appearing in messages yesterday.... What is that? I tried to remove them, but they re-appear. I even have them in PM's that I received last night.

Additionally, shortly after I first saw them my laptop locked up and now the hdd is unreadable...???.. Coincidence... I hope!

Anyone else seeing this?

Terry, Grover, Bob.. Any of the mods know what's causing this?

The problem is in all the forums owned by the parent company.&nbsp\\; They are working on it and it will not effect your computer.

It's retaliation - an invasion of the site by METRICS....&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; the computer can't show their characters, so it inserts //////&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; instead
