Default Risers on a Road King

I recently found out that risers can be put on a RK by using the interface plate HD makes for the Street slammer&nbsp\\;bar with integrated risers. I'm considering putting this plate on in place of the standard Road King bar mount cover. I'm curious to know if anyone has tried to do this, if so how did it turn out and do you have any pictures? My main concern is how will it look when it's done.

i haven't gone with the riser plate but i did get a new handlebar cover for my custom.&nbsp\\; i figured that since i was gonna be running the windshield all the time, that the chrome riser was not necessary so got rid of that.&nbsp\\; my point is, if you do go with the new plate, don't forget you are gonna have to get a new chrome spear as well, the one on the custom is shorter because of the chrome deflector.&nbsp\\; not horribly expensive, but if you aren't prepared for it, could be a slight delay in your 'upgrade'....

I saw HD has an adapter for the wind deflector so I'm assuming I can keep it and the spear.

You can change the RK bar cover from the deflector style to the standard type. You can also change to pull-back style bars. I've seen them put am not certain which bars and risers were used. Harley does have a setup for this.
