Hi,
Is there a \\;kit available to \\;lock RKC leather saddle bags?.......actually after posting, i saw the is a supplier that provides a kit, but it is forward mounted and would allow the back to be lifted.
ORIGINAL: Beertapper
Seen these http://inertiawrx.com \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\;in V-Twin magizine. \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\; Was thinking of them for my RKC.

+1 on these. Pay attention to the directions if you get them. Read it all the way through BEFORE you begin ANY of the steps. All that aside, they work great.
I just finished my 2003 RKC saddlebag locks (RK-01) from InertiaWRX (www.inertiawrx.com). It was pretty easy except for some VERY minor mods to the saddlebags themselves (making one hole larger to allow for a nut to fit through).
All in all, I'd day it's a good product and a Saturday morning's worth of work (3 hours), just don't over tighten the nut on the emblem.
I put the HD ones on my FLHRS ( I don't know why). Easy install with a little cutting. Seem to work fine. Don't know if anyone has tried to steal anything and failed since install.

Did the locks for the Custom lock the lids or just lock the bags to the frame? I asked my dealer about them and they had never had any in before and could not find a full description for me in a timley manner. I know it is not going to stop the people who really want something but it will keep people honset.
