they have bulbs that are 100 and 110 watt equivelant that only draw 50 watts of power as the original low beam does in the two light system, the high draws 35 watts I believe, the wiring and charging system are easily capable of the 100 watt combined draw according to Harley, I too replaced both bulbs in the two bulb system to achieve max lighting after checking with the service manager at my dealer who placed a call to an engineer at Harley Davidson.... have it on my 2007 and my 2008 with no problems in addition to piaa bulbs on my passing lights and the wiring bypass to keep the passing lights on with the high beam on........

I have the same set up as gene01.&nbsp\\; Works great at night&nbsp\\;and you can be seen in the daylight!

It's only 3.3 more amps than the stock bulbs.
