Hey all, \\;
 \\;
For all the DTT experts.... I just did my first shakedown run on my 07...I got lucky with the IAC, settled right in to 30. \\; The TPS I got pretty close to .4, if it's off a little but still in the green, and pretty close to on the money...will it matter?
 \\;
So now that I did the run, I viewed and saved the log, went in to the Link program, downloaded from the TCFI, and then applied the BLM tables. \\; Do I need to Upload this back to the TCFI, or when I click apply BLMtables will it do it automatically? \\; The one mistake I made, is I saved it after I applied the new BLM's so I don't have a reference to my first run other than the log. \\; Am I on the right track?
 \\;
Thanks
 \\;
You must upload the data back to the ecm. When you apply your blms always reset the blms after applying them then upload back to the ecm so it can correct its alpha-n and front cylinder trim for the next time you run. If the engine stumbles make your downloads and uploads frequently until things start to straighten out. \\;Can you tell more about your setup. Saving your original is not so important on your first run but it is a good idea if you are making big changes so that you can get back to a known starting point.
CTS is correct...
 \\;
Not a big deal you didnt save the first map. But as things start to tune in you will want to save them as if you make a change and it is worse you can go back. That is the nicce thing about the DTT is you can play till your hearts content.... Ok maybe it is a bad thing....
 \\;
-More description on your build is important as we dont know what it is trying to tune.
-The TPS is good as long as it is close.
-I would check the log file for your IAC to make sure she is holding at around 30
-You will need 5-6 good runs for her to tune in decent
-Yes, you need to apply the BLM's and reset them. The front cylinder BLM will adjust the Front Cylinder Trim which it is a modification of the Alpha-N file. The Rear cylinder BLM adjusts the Alpha-N table. Depending on your build you might need to adjust the advanced table (timing) to remove ping.
 \\;
There are some tuning things that can be done depending on what is going on. If using the supplied AFR that will need to be adjusted as it is rich to start with and the advanced table is very aggressive (again depending build)
 \\;
Dont hesitate to to PM Phil and Guy or even myself as we do talk also about things we have tryed and directions for better tuning.
Ok thanks guys, I did upload back to the ECM, but I'm not sure what you mean by resetting the BLM's. \\; After I applied the BLM's my Graph went green and flat, is that what you mean?
 \\;
Right now my bike is stock for now. \\; V&\\;H true duals with Rush slipons and a Screamin eagle air filter. \\; It started and Idled well right off the hop, when I started riding it got a little rough at idle, but it cleaned up and was running pretty good by the end of my short ride, only 5-10min.
Well, I typed out two long winded replies and the forum gods would not allow them to post. \\; I hope they get this fixed soon.
 \\;
I guess the best thing right now is if you have any questions, send me a PM with your phone no and I will give you a call.
LOL....
Night sent me an \\;pm also and I had responded twice (long) \\;and twice it crashed.... This site SUCKS..... These sponsors are paying money to help with upkeep maintaining the site and it does nothing but crash....
 \\;
Night,
I sent you an email please respond and I can give answers that way.
hey thanks guys, I might just have to talk to one of you yet to get things a little clearer, but I think I got the jist of it now. \\; I need to do a little online research to learn a little but more about alpha n and blm stuff, just so I know what I'm looking at.
