NOS Octane Booster
Got home from an ill fated trip west just a few days ago and wanted to give a thumbs up for the NOS brand octane booster. \\; I got a bottle, I think about 12 bucks to treat 20 gallons, in Nebraska. \\; I had to settle for a tank of 89 octane with I think 10% ethanol in it and the scoot got to pinging when rolling on the throttle from lower rpm's. \\; I added about 1/3 or so of the bottle to a full tank and the pinging ended shortly thereafter. \\; My build is about 10.25:1 compression but my buddy with a totally stock 07 road glide said his was pinging as well. \\; So, if you get stuck with cruddy gas, give that stuff a shot as it worked good for me.

We run a lot of our bikes with "higher" compression ratios and always carry some "Rocket Fuel". They come in individual dose plastic capsules and each treat a tank of fuel. Handy to have around for the above mentioned situations.
