My little brother has been using regular gas (87 octane every fill up) and Lucas gas treatment in his 07 ultra for a year now and say his girl runs great on it and it increased his mpg buy 3 per tank full. The 5.25 oz. bottle does say eliminates the need for high octane fuel. Help greatly with bad fuel as in E-gas, I guess that is bad fuel. My brother adds 1 Oz. per tank full. His bike does run good and without a ping even when I've road it hard to see for my self. only mods to his girl is air and slip-ons.
What ya'll think about Lucas gas treament and what he is going with it?
I did have an 07 ultra and just traded for a 2013 TG. Getting ready to put S&S 557 cams in her and open up the air way.
Last time at the gas station Premium was $4.19 a gallon. 87 octane was $4.09. I'll use my trike as an example, I have a 6 gallon tank, so if I run it bone dry I'll save $0.60 a fill-up. If your brother adds 1 oz per tank full, his bottle will last 5 tank fill-ups. If the bottle of additive cost more than $3.00 he is loosing money. I hope he knows that you can't always hear pinging. Is it worth 60 cents to take that chance?? It takes years to eat a hole in a piston.

Good Luck
, not to mention there is a difference in compression between a 96" and a 103" engine. The 103 does have more compression due to its larger bore size.
Stopped at the Shell Station I frequent, Premium is $4.29, Regular is $4.09. So the savings on my 6 gallon tank would be $1.20. Still not worth it. I don't think Harley is in Cahoots with Shell or the oil companies. Someone much more educated than me recommended the Premium gas. Guess I'll drink 1 less beer per tankful.

WOW!! where can you get a beer for $1.20 now??Around here it's min $2.50 (unless it's that near beer)
My son M3 has been using the additive for quite awhile and he convinced me to give it a try. I did purchase some and I will try it on my up and coming trip to Maggie Valley this Friday.
Their is no magic gas treatment, just put the premium gas in it like Harley recommends.
All of these magic treatments reminds me of the old west when the medicine men would come to town in their ole covered wagons and sell their cure all medicine for 50 cent a bottle .
They could also make it rain for a dollar,....maybe .
