Default streetglide headshake

&nbsp\\; I did a 750 mile trip. Alot of highway miles. I noticed a headshake when reaching speeds above 85 mph. It also was doing the same thing when passing semi's at 70-75.
&nbsp\\; I can actually see the faring moving when it does this. I did a search and I came up with the rear arm problem but I dont think that is the issue here.
&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;The bike is 2008 streetglide with 2800 miles. I added a 6 inch hd windsheild.
&nbsp\\; Does anyone make a steering dampner for these bikes?

The front end on mine shook a little, also.&nbsp\\; Shaking when changing lanes at speed.&nbsp\\; I installed a TWR Stabilizer and the problem was eliminated.

I would like to know if the missing link will fix my wobbles as well. Last night me and a buddy were horsing aroundand we ran the bikes up to 110 and it wobbled a little but when I got on the brakes to slow down it shook so bad it threw the right saddle bag open needless to say it scared the sh*t outta me for a second.

I feel&nbsp\\;a wobble and lightness in the front end from 70 and above but I think a lot depends on the direction and speed of the wind and the road surface. This drives me crazy! I even have a Alloy Art Stabilizer to no avail.
I'm thinking Of changing the front wheel to a more open spoke type. Thinking the wind is catching the almost solid stock wheel. I'm also going to go to a Metzler tire.
Isn't it amazing that you have to redesign a 20,000 dollar bike!!!!!

You might want to check tour head/neck bearing torque. Had this problem on my rg when it was new, it took 2 adjustments before it stopped.

Had that adjustment done about 3 or 4 times and by different wrenches. I wish it where that easy but thanks for the input.

&nbsp\\;Back in the day about 20 years ago. I had a fzr1000. It had headshake so bad it was not safe to drive over 110 mph. It happened after putting sticky tires on it.
&nbsp\\; The fix was a steering dampner. After the dampner install i could do 140 with 1 hand on the bars.
&nbsp\\; I just cannot seem to find one for a streetglide.
