I've got an 06 Road Glide and my wife complains about too much wind hitting her in the face. I've got the tall 18 1/2" windshield. Any ideas on how to cut the wind?
i added lowers to mine last week...seemed to stop the airflow a little too much in this heat, i than removed the air baffle on forks, which gave me a little bit of air flow back so not as hot...good luck making it all work, let us know what you come up with
 \\;get a shorter wife!!! \\;I got the Laminar Lip...wife said it did help but then she does not sit tall in the saddle either, wind current hits her on top of the helmet instead of in the face now. Might give that a try.
I had trouble at first until I realized it was the way I was sitting on the bike. I tend to slouch down. The windhield edge cut across my field of view and was driving me nuts.
My wife suggested that I sit up straight.
I thought she was nuts but I tried it. I adjusted the handle bars a bit and belive it or not I'm much more comfortable now and I can see over the top of the shield.
I think I block the wind better for her now as she loves the bike and has not complained. \\;
