NO SPARK 01 ELECTRAGLIDE

 \\; \\; \\; \\; What's up members. I just bought an 01 electraglide carb with 8,000 miles. The other day I was riding and stopped for gas and when I tried to start the bike to leave I had no spark.

 \\; \\; \\; My local dealer checked the coil and it is good. They said they could not check the ign. module because it is one of those "plug in a different bike and try it situations" so I am trying to do that tomorrow. So the last component would be the crank position sensor, which I pulled out to inspect and it looks brand new.

 \\; \\; \\; And even though my title says 01 and my vin tag prod. date says 12-00, there is no cam position sensor under the inspection cover and obviously no wire coming out of the cam cover. Which I find strange because my Clymer service manual says that 1999, 2000 and 2001 models have a cam position sensor (CMP)

 \\; \\; \\; One question I have is\\; If you put a test light to the wires coming from the crank sensor should you get any indication of power when you turn the engine over? Is that how I can test the sensor? Thanks for any help and suggestions
