2007 Street Glide Problem
I own a 2007 Street Glide. I have about 11000 miles on it. It has the 103" kit with the SE-255 cams. I noticed a while back that between 3000-4000 rpms it sounds to me like the valves are rattling. I took it to the dealer. They asked me what gas I am running, I told them, they said don't run gas with ethanol, ethanol is water. They said use shell. I ran a tank or two of shell and it did not seem to change anything. What gives with the valvel train? All I have is the harley download for this setup, no SERT or ThunderMax or Vance and Hines fuel pak. When I bought it they said they would warranty the bike even though it has the SE-255 cams.
Anyway, what is going on with the rattling sound? What should I do? Is it harming the motor? The cams are high rpm cams. Suggestions?
Thanks to all!!!!!!!

Did a dealer tech take the bike for a test ride?

If you bought the HD SE 103" Stage II (?) that comes with the SE 255 cams and it was installed by an HD dealer, the engine work doesn't effect the warrantyper the HD SE Catalog.
