Default Death Valley Gas Prices

For those of you interested in traveling through Death Valley, here are the current prices:

At Furnace Creek:
87: $5.59
89: $5.69
91: $5.79

Panamint Springs Resort on Highway 190 has been quoted at:
87: $6.75
89: $7.20
91: $7.40

Stovepipe Wells does not have 91 octane.

I believe it.
Most out of the way places always have and will charge higher prices.
When I use to own a boat,the marinas always charged more also.

Oh my....I just rode through Baker last week and forgot to look at the price.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; I filled up so I didn't have to stop there.

If you are out of gas in Death Valley with the buzzards circling overhead $7.40 a gallon would be a bargain LOL.

Sometimes it's necessary to fill there...Shoshone is always high as well, but even the best planning can lead you to a station in the forbidden zone!!!

i went to vegas last weekend luckily i topped off b4 i left did not stop for gas
until i was in vegas it was about 15 cents cheaper than san fernando valley

15 cents per gallon cheaper i would not bitch about too much.&nbsp\\; thats only .75 cents for a tankful.&nbsp\\; now, 7.40 a gallon i could hemorrhage over....

Like Panamint Springs, Bridgeport, CA up on US395 is another town not to buy gas.&nbsp\\; Put a gallon in if you must to get to the next town, Lee Vining or Mammoth Lks, but don't do a fill.
