Default gas mileage?
I was just wondering what other people were getting as far as gas mileage goes.&nbsp\\; I have an '03 Road King and I am going to be using it for the majority of my transportation because of gas prices going up. It should get better than my '93 Ford Ranger pickup.&nbsp\\; I have heard that it should get around 40 mpg highway. &nbsp\\;

thats about right i get over 200 miles a tank about 40mpg

what would you say around town mileage would be?&nbsp\\; I calculated mine and only got about 25 mpg.&nbsp\\; just thought that from 40 highway to 25 around town was a little drastic.

Depends how you ride. That does seem a little low. Maybe try modifying your riding habits and check again? I ride a combination of both, and average 38 40 mpg.

I seem to be around 40-45 MPG depending on the type of riding I do.&nbsp\\; Sometime less if I'm riding 2-up and a lot of in-town riding.

Average 45 on highway if I stay at 70 to 75. Like everyone else said, depends on how you drive, especially around town.

I get around 44 with my 99 Ultra, but it drops bad when pulling camp trailer to 38 mpg.

Just checked mine for the first time...39.5...various riding conditions(mountains, interstate, local). The bike has almost 600 smiles on it!
