Default Lower back problems

Just got back from a 4800 mile trip on my 08 UC. Short storie is I got no azz and my tailbone burns after two hours.
Doctor friend and ex-rider said I should have seat modified with more padding for "cheek and leg area and less in middle, kinda like a trough.
I've done the search and read up on Mustang,Sundowner and others but none mention my problem.
Anyone else have this problem or any ideas other than a wheelbarrow innertube?&nbsp\\; Thanks,&nbsp\\; Mitch

Get the set re-worked (most of the custom folks will work it you to specs after talking with you), get a back rest as well.
Or you could just start eating alot more to increase the spread

I had the same problem, Ran onto Advanced Seating Designs of Kilgore TX.&nbsp\\; I went up there and spent two days with them and th seat below is the result.&nbsp\\; I have put a little over 3,000 miles on it since I had it installed.&nbsp\\; Not only am aI happy but the wife is happy.&nbsp\\; pay no attention to the shape or colors if they are not to your suit, Warren will make it to your specifications.&nbsp\\; He has a lot of experience and is very easy to work with.&nbsp\\; If you want more info hit me up with a message off list.&nbsp\\; I have no interest or financial gain from this company just a satisfied customer.&nbsp\\; Wife want lumbar support and armrests and that is what she got.&nbsp\\; I wanted more support for my cheeks and that is what I got.&nbsp\\;

Maybe a riders backrest will help out?

I have bad lower back problems, spine stimulator implant, and&nbsp\\; the rider back rest made a huge difference.&nbsp\\; It made me sit up straight instead of slouching.&nbsp\\; It also eliminated shoulder pain, I guess also from slouching.&nbsp\\; My 19 year old son talked me into it after he rode a buddys bike with one.&nbsp\\; Best money I ever spent.&nbsp\\; Just my 2 cents.&nbsp\\;

Correct seat fit and backrest.Possibly adjust handle bars and u might be good to go. I also feel 4800 miles in my Lincoln would make me pretty sore!!!

Adding an adjustable back rest was one of the best things I did to make my RG much more comfortable on long rides.

Just did the H-D Sundowner and adjustable rider backrest, What a difference. I also have a bad lower back and didn't realize the slouch factor either. Now with the backrest&nbsp\\;I feel so much better on longer rides.
Just be aware the seat does kinda move you forward a bit.

I had the same problem with long rides. I installed on my 06 roadglide&nbsp\\;the rider ajustable back rest as well as a airhawk set cover. It worked great for me, when I get off the bike now I can walk and move with out pain. It also took the pressure points off the insides of my legs.
