Just wanted to let all of you know that John at Clearview is taking care of me. \\; A day after I started this thread he wrote back and on a \\;Sunday I might add. \\; I sent him the same pictures and he thought there should be more of a recurve as well and would talk to the production guys on Monday. \\; They also agreed and they are going to remake the shield for me and they have already sent me a prepaid lable to send the old one back.

They are completly taking care of me!!!!!

I am not going to get the vent this time as well and they are going to credit me the difference.

Set a ruler on the shield and the gap is so small it is not even measurable and you cannot see it at all without the ruler.

Also recieved the shield in about 3 weeks. \\;\\\\\\; When I got the shipping email I emailed John and asked why so soon when it should have been 6-8 weeks? \\;\\\\\\; He said one must have got cancelled.

John had always been very responsive when emailing with questions before the purchase \\;\\\\\\;(less than 25hrs), sent an email early yesterday with the above issues and no word back?
 \\;\\\\\\;
Anyone else have any issues.

I will give john until early next week to email or I will call.

The recurve on my 8" shield is very slight, but it makes the difference I was looking for. I can see over the shield and the airflow hits me near the top of my head (above my eyes). \\; With a straight 8" shield, the airlflow was hitting me just below my glasses and pushing them up.

bucs...how long did it take you to get your xl clearview ??? and whats your opinion? i ordered the same one about 3 weeks ago..iam anixouis to get it ... iam 6' 5" and need some wind protection
