I just installed a set of XiEDs on my 2007 RK FLHR. \\; Took about a minute - real plug and play.
 \\;
Went for a 2 hour ride (about 70 miles). \\; The throttle response seemed significantly improved, and the "seat-of-the pants" test indicated that things were running cooler (my inner legs weren't on fire).
 \\;
HOWEVER...
 \\;
I went in the garage about an hour after I got home and I could smell a distinct gasoline odor. \\; I didn't just fill up so that's not it. \\; I've got the door open now and it seems to be airing out.
 \\;
Has anyone had that experience with these products? \\; Could it be residual fuel in the combustion chamber, due to the richer mixture?
I've noticed the same thing with my '07 Road Glide, especially after a long, fairly fast ride. \\; I just leave the garage doors open for \\;a while. \\; I think it's a fuel injection side effect. \\; Any other opinions out there?
 \\; Xied's on an 07 RoadGlide 16,000 miles stock bike that ran fine befor installing.
Bike runs good gun shows a small about 20 to 25 degree temp drop.
Throttle seems stronger by just a touch.
Smelled some fuel once on start up in garage
Have throw P0131 and P0151 codes 3 times waiting to see if they come back.
Intrested in any down to earth experience other with 07's maybe having
Steve's web site is here http://www.nightrider.com/parts/ Great guy who will take time to answer your questions.
FWIW, I have the XIEDs on my 08 and no gas smell, big difference in how it runs and LESS heat off the engine. Wife even asked what i did as her right leg no longer felt hot..
i have an o7 e-glide classic, ive bought a set of xieds, but havent put them on yet.. \\; when my bike is good and hot and at about 3/4 tank of fuel and below i get a strong odor of fuel when i park bike in garage until it cools down. no leaks that i can find, gas cap on tight , my friends 07 ultra dont do it.
