Default What is this plug for??

So my&nbsp\\; buddy is washing his '03 Road King and notices a small square female plug hanging down underneath his headlight.&nbsp\\; He ask me what is it 'cuz he's never noticed it before.&nbsp\\; I say I don't know, does everything work?, blinkers, horn, etc.? We check, everything is working. So, what is it for?&nbsp\\; Anyone?

If Your buddy has the charger assembly mounted on that bike, I bet it´s that. Some dealers install the chargerconnector under the headlight.

On my 07, it is an aux power plug controlled by the left switch on the back of the headlight nacelle.

Under the headlight makes me think it's the extra plug in the headlight wiring harness.&nbsp\\; We all have them.&nbsp\\; I think it's used in Europe for fog lamps.

This is probably the most likely answer.&nbsp\\; It's not a battery tender plug or the auxillery power plug-that's under the seat. It looks like it slipped down from inside the headlight shell, so I would think you're on the right track. Thanks, John

If it's a little 2 wire plug with a O/W and BLK wire it's for the HDI lamps which are on International models.&nbsp\\; Not used in the States.
