Jeff,
+1 here. I just rode home in a deluge yesterday afternoon from an event at Orlando Harley Davidson. As soon as I got off the bike I started wiping it off with a large micro-fiber towel. By the time I get down to the warm parts they've cooled enough to wipe off too. I then just spray on Turtle Wax Ice, The BOM, or a similar product and its ready for the road again. I'd rather ride than spend all of my time cleaning. Its shiny enough, and I'm not enering any shows with a stock '07 UC.
i clean once every one or two weeks. here in FL there is a 50% plus chance for the next 7 days for storms. usually end up ridin daily in the stuff so i cant afford the time ta get **** bout the dirt.
